Birthday Parties

I had a Candyland theme birthday party for my 2 yr old. I had searched around everywhere for things themed to it and had pretty much no luck. The only website that sold anything related was birthdayexpress.com I decided to do a candy bar also. I bought alot of candy from orientltrading.com and local candy supply stores. For the party favor i had bought the boxes from birthday express and the sticker sheets i also put a box of crayons, i made a coloring book and of course all the candy from the candy bar they could take. The front pages were construction paper and a cut out of the candy land kids then laminated. Inside i typed up the candy land story, which was very hard to find the story is on the old game boards not on the new. There were 3 pages of the story and 4 coloring pages. Every book had King Kandy but the boys had all the boy character coloring pages and the girls had girl characters from the game. The coloring book did take awhile to do i had my cousin Brittanys help which still took us a couple hours to do. But they turned out cute. Walmart had the large size unicorn suckers so i bought enought for every kid but decorated with them first. I had made fake lollipops and stuck them in colored tin buckets and put fake grass on them to decorate also i did add a few unicorn suckers to each bucket to dress it up a bit. I did have the board game and the new board game that looks like a book which i set behind the cake to put more Candyland theme into it!
